Help the Heart

We have launched our first grant call focusing solely on research into the heart.

Our Help the Heart grant is worth up to £1.5 million, and will fund ambitious projects to understand and treat the hearts of people with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Further. Faster. Together

We need to go further than anyone has before to find effective treatments. This means setting our ambitions high and overcoming every barrier in our way.

We’re going to do it faster, because this generation of people living with DMD can’t wait.

The only way we can achieve this is together. We create a network of mutual support for families. We collaborate with scientists and the pharmaceutical industry, bringing them together to share knowledge. And we work with health services so that patients get the care they need.

Showcasing the life-changing potential of inclusive technology in the US

We showcased our technology to an international audience at South by Southwest (SXSW), a technology and entertainment conference that took place in Texas in March 2024.

Dash AT HOME

The Duchenne Dash AT HOME is a virtual challenge that takes place in the run up to the Duchenne Dash – our annual fundraising bike ride from London to Paris.

Challenge yourself to complete 300kms in any way that you like (the distance from London to Paris) in six weeks for Duchenne UK.
